Martin Beek Marvels Film Film maker director

Hello and welcome to my website!

It's nearly 2010 and this new Martin Beek website is still more-or-less under construction. I hope to get all content migrated from the old website to this new one, before the end of December.

Some new topics and sections will be launched soon, such as the Filmmaking Hardware Testdrives. I am also having talks soon with other contributors, to provide even more film-making-related content.

Parallel to this website, there is the Marvels Film Shooters Blog, where filmmakers discuss some  of the topics and articles on this  website. Select the Blog or Twitter menu items  at the top of this  page to stay up to date.

About MartinBeek.Net

You have landed at the website of film maker Martin Beek. Martin lives in the Netherlands with his wife, two daughters, two dogs (bitches too) and a guinea pig called Jean-Pierre. Martin is a traditionally schooled cinematographer who has over 20 years of experience in the field of film making. Via his production company Marvels Film, Martin produces TV documentaries, shorts, commercials and music videos.   The last few years, Martin participates in a growing number of non-profit projects; both for "tzedakah" and for sharing his skills and knowledge with the new generation of filmmakers.
Recently, Martin put his Arriflex camera in a museum and switched to digital film making. His weblog is targeted towards this new medium.

Read Martin's Bio page to learn more about him, and for contact information. Use the contact form to send Martin a message.
